We recently attended the Indie Beauty Expo in Dallas, Texas where we were thrilled to connect (and reconnect) with so many of our wonderful customers. This year, in addition to getting to talk with you about what you need and want out of the products you use on your kids, we were thrilled to be recognized by Beauty Independent as a Dallas trend setter in their Indie Beauty Expo Dallas 2018: Exclusive Trend Report.
New Heights Naturals was one of 70 brands that Beauty Independent considered as it "scoured the expo floor for items that propel the beauty industry’s narrative forward." The trend report recognized more than 35 products from 34 brands grouped into a dozen major trends making noise in the indie beauty market. New Heights Naturals was one of three skincare brands featured in the "Sunscreen Sensation" Trend.
Noted for our no-nonsense and gimmick free approach to kids skin and sun care, Beauty Independent highlighted our SPF 30 sunscreen stick as "a standout for slathering on tiny tots." As founder Stephanie McGraw noted for the article, “Our stick is large. The diameter is about the width of a child’s arm. Further, because it is in stick from, you can hold your child still with one hand and apply sunscreen with the other. You are not chasing a child with two goopy hands.”
Other trends that were noted in the Dallas Trend Report included eczema and psoriasis treatments, high-end skincare, crystals, curated product set bundles, toners, luscious lip products, Caribbean beauty brands, public displays of skincare patches, innovative scent delivery systems, scalp treatments, and new application methods.
